Self Dedication Ritual 1

Material: Three white candles One red candle Matches or lighter Sweet smelling incense (rose) A cup with water A quiet place

Setup: This must be done on the night of the full moon.

Place the three white candles in the form of a triangle.

Place the red candle in the middle.

Place the water to the left side of the triangle of candles.

Place the incense to the right side of the triangle of candles.

Perform a meditation to center yourself.

Light the white tip candle and visualize white light shooting up from the earth into the candle.

Light the remaining white candles while saying your name.

Light the incense and walk around the candles while saying:

"ON THIS NIGHT I COME BEFORE THE ELEMENTS ASKING FOR THE GAURDIANS TO ARISE.""OPEN THE PATH.OPEN THE GATES OPEN THE WAY.I AM HERE."

Light the red candle.

Say why you have chosen witchcraft.(It is very important that you be 100% honest with yourself.Do some seriuos soul searching,put your heart into it.)

Stand in the form of a pentagram ans say:

"EARTH MOTHER I INVOKE YOU."

Stand in this position for a few moments.

Kneel before the candles and take the water.

Pass it through the incense and over the candles while saying:

"BLESS ME EARTH MOTHER.""WITH THIS WATER CHARGE YOUR ENERGIES INSIDE."

Place the cup of water down and place your palms over it while visualizing a white light comung from the earth,filling the water.Say:

"AS TO EARTH,,AS TO ME,MAY THIS WATER PURIFY ME."

Hold the water high over your head and say:

"OPEN THE PATH.OPEN THE GATES.OPEN THE WAY.I AM HERE."

Drink the charged water.

Put out the red candle and say:

"GREAT EARTH MOTHER BLESSED BE.""I AM CHARGED,SO MOTE IT BE."

Let the white candles burn themselves out.

Self Dedication Ritual 2

Prepare yourself by drawing a warm bath.Add a tablespoon of salt and perhaps a little oil. As you bathe,prepare for the coming rite.Open your consiousness to higher levels of awareness.Deep breathe.Cleanse your mind as well as your body. Go to a place in the wild where you feel safe.It shoul be a comfortable spot where you will not be disturbed by others,an area where the powers of earth and the other elements are evident.Draw on your imagination to find a place. You need top take nothing with you but a vial of richly scented oil(sandalwood,rose etc...).When you arrive at your location,take your shoes off and sit quietly for a while.Breathe deeply to calm yourself and open up to the natural energies around you. When you are calm rise to your feet and turn around observing all the beauty around you.Youre seeking the ideal spot.Dont try to find it;open your awareness to the place.When you have discovered it (and you will know when),sit,kneel,or lie flat on your back.Place the oil on the earth beside you,Dont stand-contact the earth. Continue deep breathing.Feel the energy around you.Call the Goddess and God in any words you like. You may feel bursting with power and energy,or calm and peace.Your mind might be in a whirl.The earth beneath you may throb with energy.Wild animals,attracted by the psychic occurrence,might grace you with their presence. Whatever occurs,know that you have opened yourself and that the Goddess and God have heard you.You should feel diffrent. After the invocation,wet a finger with the oil and mark a circle with two cresents on either side (Goddess) and a circle with a cresent at the top of it (God),somewhere on your body.It doea not matter where.As you annoint,visualize these symbols sinking into your flesh,glowing as they enter your body and then dispersing into millions of tiny points of light. The formal rite has ended.Thank the Goddess and God for their attention.Sit and meditate before leaving the place of dedication. Once home,celebrate in some speacial way.

INITIATION

Here we give you an initiation ritual.Make sure that you have been studying and practicing the Craft and determined that it is the right path for you.DO NOT take this lightly!This initiation ritual is not the same as self-initiation taught in most books;this type of initiation will call upon the astral powers and energies to accept and notice you.You may have to perform this ceremony for a few weeks before you are accepted.You already have the elemental energies with you. Do Not perfrom this ritual if you feel that you need more practice. Dont despair!Though you may get it the first night,it does take time.Above all dont give up.

You Will Need: ==============

The incense

Your Tools

A flower of any type

Four white candles (in addition to your alter candle)

A white Robe (any robe will do,as long as it is white)

For the alter candle you will use both the white and black candles.

Set Up: =======

Place your tools where they belong;the alter candles can go next to each other on the alter,the four white candles should go on the floor next to your alter in a rectangular position,the flower below the alter candles,and you should be nude under your white robe.This can be done any nights,but only done at night.

The Ritual: ===========

Perform a meditation.

Cast your circle.

Kneel before the alter and hum for about ten minutes.

Take the flower and kiss it.

Raise it above your head while saying:

"OH GOD AND GODDESS HEAR ME,BLESSED BE."

"SPIRITS AND POWERS HEAR ME,BLESSED BE."

"COME TO ME THIS NIGHT,FOR THIS IS YOUR RITE."

Light the four white candles while saying:

"THESE CANDLES ARE YOUR DOOR,COME THROUGH OH GOD AND GODDESS,BLESSED BE."

"THESE CANDLES ARE YOUR DOOR,COME THROUGH OH SPIRITS AND POWERS,BLESSED BE."

Place the flower inside the rectangle of candle while saying:

"THIS IS ME,I CALL YOU,OH GOD AND GODDESS HEAR ME."

"THIS IS ME,I CALL YOU,OH SPIRITS AND POWERS HEAR ME."

Take the incense and make sure it is still burning.

Place the burner inside the rectangle of candles while saying:

"LET THIS BE YOUR FORM OH GOD AND GODDESS COME FORTH."

"LET THIS BE YOUR FORM OH SPIRITS AND POWERS COME FORTH."

Hold your hands up high over your head and say:

"I AM YOUR CHILD,I AM YOUR LIGHT,BRING TO ME YOUR LOVING GRACE,COME FORTH AND WELCOME ME."

Lower your arms.

Take the athame and point it at the burner.

Visualize the burner glowing white.

Point the athame up high above your head while saying:

"OPEN THE GATES,OPEN THE WAY,COME FORTH."

Remove your robe so that you are completely naked and say:

"I STAND HERE BEFORE YOU IN MY TOTAL PURITY."

"OH GOD AND GODDESS COME FORTH AND ACCEPT YOUR CHILD."

"OH SPIRITS AND POWERS COME FORTH AND ACCEPT YOUR CHILD."

Drink from the chalice and say:

"I AM READY FOR YOUR ACCEPTANCE OH GREAT ONES,GIVE ME THE SIGN."

Sit before the rectangle of candles and chant:

"COME FORTH,COME FORTH,COME FORTH...."

Continue chanting until the sign comes,or for about a half an hour.

Note:The sign can be as simple as a thump on the wall,a breeze,or anything out of the ordinary,or it can be the actual apperance of the God,Goddess,Spirits or Powers.

If after a half hour you have not receiced the sign, Release your circle and try again the next night.

Only continue with the following if you have gotten the sign!!!!!!!

Stand and open your arms while saying:

"OH GOD AND GODDESS I ADORE THEE."

"OH SPIRITS AND POWERS I ADORE THEE."

Take the white alter candle and hold it while saying:

"PURIFY ME TO THE FORCES OF LIGHT."

Take the black alter candle and hold it while saying:

"PURIFY ME TO THE FORCES OF DARKNESS."

Kneel before the alter and say:

"I AM YOUR CHILD.PROTECT ME.I AM HERE.I AM BLESSED."

Put the robe back on and say your final words:

"SO MOTE IT BE."

Release the circle,but release the energy up to the cosmos instead of down to the ground.

You are now initiated into the craft and accepted by the God and Goddess and Spirits and Powers.

If you do not receive the sign with in four weeks,go bac and practice and study what you can.You are simply not ready yet.DONT GIVE UP!!!
